Outer Baselstrasse (AeBas) - Lot 2

The construction works on the cantonal road "Äussere Baselstrasse" will be carried out as part of the overall renewal of the Basel - Riehen border axis.

Project description

The master builder works AeBas/Baulos 2 are part of the overall renewal of the axis Basel - Riehen border. The Habermatten to Kilchgrundstrasse section is located in groundwater protection zone 2 (S2a and S2b), which requires that a complete seal be in place in the track area. Together with all groundwater protection measures, the necessary rehabilitation of the road surface on the cantonal road will also be carried out.

Special features

In addition, the following work will be carried out: above all, work on the power lines, replacement of the BVB overhead contact line including masts, installation of BVB stop furniture, new construction and relining of the sewer system. This work is being coordinated with the road and track construction work. In many places, space is very tight between the construction site, road traffic and streetcar lines. At the same time, access to the properties must be maintained at all times.
